Evangel Baptist Church has been in Taylor, Michigan since 1934 at the corner of Telegraph and Pennsylvania. We serve Taylor and the surrounding Downriver communities. Our main purpose is teaching the Bible and showing how the Bible relates to people's needs today. We are part of the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches.

Evangel Baptist Church exists to glorify God by developing committed disciples to the Lord, both locally and globally, through exaltation of God, evangelism of the unsaved, and the edification and equipping of Christians in accordance with the Scriptures and the historic Baptist faith (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:38-47).

Evangel Baptist Church exists to minister to the people of Taylor and the surrounding Downriver Community, as well as those beyond through our missionaries, by evangelism of the unsaved and by edification of Christians through worship, observing the two ordinances (Baptism and Communion), teaching of the Bible, equipping for ministry, prayer, caring, and fellowship with the overall goal of developing committed disciples to the Lord in obedience to Matthew 28:19-20 and in accord with the historic Baptist faith.

Evangel Baptist Church is located on the North-East corner of Telegraph Rd. and Pennsylvania Rd. in Taylor, Michigan.
